When can I expect my handmade beret/knit accessories to arrive?

Each beret is custom made to ensure accuracy for your little noggin’. A beret can take 2-4 weeks to knit, felt and air-dry before shipment. A Scarfette can take 1-2 weeks before shipment. Shipping depends on your area but 5-7 days max.

MADfibers Studio is 1 person job and ya girl still works full time. Did someone say #PassionProject? In the future, I would love to start having big launch dates with ready to ship berets available. Just know whenever you receive your item, it’s overflowing with love, happy tears, and a big smile from me. 

 

When will my curated second-hand item arrive?

These are ready to ship from my inventory and will ship the following Monday from order date. 

 

When do you ship?

I ship out every Monday of each week. Holidays that occur on Mondays will postpone shipment to the following Tuesday. 

 

Why did my package arrive in a random retailer’s mailer?

I’m trying to reduce single-use plastic so I collect mine and my friend’s old mailers to ensure they get a full “lifecycle” before going to the dump. Eventually I will use 100% recyclable/compostable mailers but in the mean time, you’ll get a mystery package from me.

 

Is your brand eco-friendly? Is it completely sustainable?

Now, I don’t know if “completely” is the perfect word right now, but MADfibers Studio IS eco-friendly over anything else. MADfibers Studio (re)uses single-use plastics in the packaging (hence why you might get my package in a random branded carrier) or cardboard boxes, recyclable paper/packaging, minimal plastic tape/maximum plastic-free tape, 100% organic cotton labels, ethically sourced fiber. As an online store, you have to work hard to find the right resources to maintain an eco-friendly business. I do everything in my power to lower our carbon footprint the best I can. I would love to turn MADfibers into a completely sustainable company soon!!

 

How do you determine the charities/non-profits you work with? Would you consider donating to something I support?

I donate to charities that are progressive, inclusive, help communities and create change for the greater good. MADfibers Studio is an extension of myself, so these are beliefs that I carry throughout my personal life and my brand. I also hold monthly polls on my Instagram stories @MADfibers.Studio where you can vote for your charity of choice for the next month.

I want to buy your product this month, but I’d like to have my 10% donated to a different charity. What are my options?

If your charity is not listed, but still fits within the MADfibers morals spectrum. Please send me a email or leave a note in the “comment” section of your order. I will start a conversation with you to work out a plan for your 10%. 

If you can spare some time, please look into buying next month and having your 10% go to “Option B.”
